This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, specialist colour cosmetics company who develop and manufacture onsite in the North of England.

You are a seasoned Cosmetic Chemist with at least 5 years of professional experience within the lab, managing projects from concept through to shelf. Experience in the formulation of colour cosmetics, which could include makeup, nail polish or body / face paint is ESSENTIAL for this position.

Ideally you will have good commercial awareness in terms of ingredients costing as you will be producing mass market goods.

For more senior Chemists, new product innovation and a proven track record of developing colour cosmetics from the concept stage and throughout will be required.

You will be a dynamic individual who is able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and work on multiple briefs alongside one another. Previous experience working within a small company would be preferred as you will need to be prepared to take full ownership of the technical department.

Full UK driving license required.
