A celebration of power, structure, and unapologetic individuality—crafted through meticulously woven hair architecture and fiery tonal transitions.
This collection draws inspiration from mythology and futurism,
merging ancient war goddess energy with cybernetic rebellion.
Each look is an Armor of artistry, sculpted with extreme braiding, directional netting,
and heat-toned colour gradients that burn from ember orange to deep volcanic reds.
The silhouettes are bold and architectural, defying gravity and convention.
Precision panel work and net-like textures challenge the boundaries between hair and headpiece, pushing hairstyling into pure sculpture.
The collection showcases a fusion of traditional braiding craftsmanship with high-fashion edge, offering a visual dialogue between chaos and control, softness and strength.
Our models become warriors of the avant-garde—each one unique, yet part of a connected narrative.
Makeup is intentionally striking, enhancing the editorial impact with bold lips, structured skin, and tonal shadowing to echo the warmth and complexity of the hair.
This body of work is not just about hairstyling—it is about storytelling through form, texture, and movement. Obsidian Weave invites the viewer to step into a world where hair becomes myth, and every strand weaves a legend.

La Movida was an aesthetic and emotional Big Bang:
the ecstatic adolescence of a nation that, after the long night of Francoism,
reclaimed the right to dream in color.
In Madrid, punk slipped through the cracks of the system and blended with domestic glam,
arty pop, guilt-free kitsch, and a neighborhood Dadaism that turned any bedroom into a set.
This collection, generated entirely with AI, doesn’t illustrate the past; it remixes it for 2025/2026
and turns it into the language of hairdressing.
We present four images as a small visual manifesto where hair speaks:
fringes as sharp as fanzine headlines, triangular volumes that defy gravity, evolved mullets, shags, and pixie-shags/pixie-mullets with razor precision.
The colors speak of energy and nightlife: luminous coppers with shadow roots, pearl platinum
with a pink glaze, beige-ash panels, and a translucent turquoise that nods to neon.
Texture swings between satin polish and controlled disorder; the finish is tactile, almost sonic—like a
guitar strumming at Rock-Ola.
Sexual ambiguity—so intrinsic to that scene—emerges in the duo “Neon Twins,” where
identities rub off on each other: there is no she/he, only attitude.
In the background, an emotional lineage: Ouka Leele and García-Alix, La Edad de Oro, Malasaña, and the cassettes that documented the urgency.
Using AI here fits the spirit of La Movida: appropriation, collage, low-fi turned high-fi. Just as
magazines were once assembled with scissors and glue, today we assemble pixels to build icons
that feel new yet familiar.
The editorial goal is clear: to offer an exportable rereading of the 1980–1985 Madrid aesthetic
that breathes today. Not nostalgia, but the present: hairdressing as manifesto, image as a shout,
and Madrid as a verb.

The Chromatic Threads collection, created by stylist Sonia Jiménez Cambronero, is a statement of intent that places hair in a new creative territory: the fusion of textile art, contemporary fashion, and chromatic architecture. In this work, hair is conceived as a living loom, where color interlaces to form a powerful, vibrant, and ever-moving graphic language.
The horizontal and diagonal stripes running through the hair evoke artisanal fabrics and geometric patterns, while also recalling digital aesthetics.

The result is a work that bridges tradition and avant-garde, showing how hairstyling can engage in dialogue with disciplines as diverse as fashion, graphic design, and the visual arts.
The chosen chromatic palette reinforces this narrative: intense reds, warm oranges, and golden gleams interweave with the depth of black, creating a contrast full of strength. Greenish highlights appear as an unexpected note, a subtle nod both to nature and to technological modernity, bringing a fresh and surprising nuance.

Sonia Jiménez Cambronero’s proposal stands out not only for its bold use of color, but also for the technical precision it demands. Each stripe, each transition, each gradient has been crafted with meticulous care, turning hair into architecture. The result is not only aesthetic but also conceptual: it seeks to demonstrate that hair is not passive matter, but a living canvas capable of transmitting messages and emotions.

“Color is identity, and hair is a canvas in constant transformation,” the stylist affirms. Under this premise, Chromatic Threads highlights the importance of advanced coloring as a tool for building unique styles and expressing the personality of the wearer.
With this proposal, Sonia Jiménez Cambronero reaffirms her place as a benchmark in the field of creative hairstyling, opening new possibilities for understanding hair as contemporary art.

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” ― Marilyn Monroe
