VELVET is the new collection by Raúl de Andreas, marking a reflective pause in the artist’s creative journey. It is born from an intimate need: to stop, look back, and reconnect with the true essence of hairdressing.
After years of experimentation, competition, and exploration of abstract forms, the creator of VELVET felt the call to return to the fundamentals. In doing so, he discovered that beyond techniques or styles, his true purpose is to create beauty.

The collection draws inspiration from real hairstyles—those that once came to life on salon clients, that walked the streets, and were lived and enjoyed in everyday life. VELVET reinterprets these authentic looks, elevating them to an artistic realm while preserving their original naturalness and emotional power.
With this collection, Raúl de Andreas pays tribute to hairdressing as an artistic discipline, reclaiming its ability to move and transcend. Ultimately, VELVET stands as a declaration of love to the craft—an invitation to see hairdressing as an art form worthy of a place in museums.

Iconic elements of the Inca world are transformed into a modern visual language, expressed through fabrics, embroidery, and textures that weave tradition with innovation.

Inspired by the awanas—the traditional looms that preserve the Andean worldview and the secret language of Quechua textiles—this collection turns cultural heritage into a living creative territory, where past and present intertwine to project a timeless beauty.

With his unmistakable artistic sensibility, Christian Ríos unveils the NOSSHOKY collection—a creation born from the dialogue between tradition and innovation, between the timeless serenity of Japanese art and the disruptive energy of modern color. This proposal transcends aesthetics to become a sensory experience that pays homage to Asian culture through the bold lens of contemporary styling.

Inspired by the poetic nuances of silk kimonos, the delicacy of cherry blossoms, and the meditative contemplation of Asian landscapes, the collection reveals a color palette that balances the ephemeral and the eternal. Powdery tones, pearlescent pinks, mossy greens, and deep blues are interwoven with metallic accents and vivid flashes, creating contrasts that are as refined as they are striking. The shapes draw from geometric minimalism: structured cuts, clean lines, and precise volumes that evoke Zen harmony and contemporary Japanese design. Each hairstyle becomes a living sculpture, where technical precision and artistic inspiration coexist with effortless fluidity.

and International Creative Director Richard Ashforth, the LIBERTINE collection channels the rebellious
glamour of the Bright Young Things of interwar London, reimagined for a new generation of tastemakers.
Rooted in Sassoon’s precision heritage, it fuses sharp geometry with fluid spontaneity, celebrates
individuality and cultural audacity. Cuts collapse and expand with movement, embody studied
insouciance—disciplined and free. Colour is decadent restrained with tones that shimmer between satin
shine and velvet matte, evoking eras from 1920s opulence to 1990s gloss. LIBERTINE resonates with
Gen Z’s casual confidence and fluid beauty, uniting heritage and modernity in a louche, sophisticated
expression of self-expression and contemporary hair design.
The Collection launch provides direct access to the latest developments from Sassoon Academy, the
creative hub where innovation meets precision. Led by the esteemed Sassoon Creative Team, the
programme offers an immersive experience into the latest Sassoon collection, blending artistic vision with
expert craftsmanship.

“A 100% razor haircut, this style was abstract and intuitive, born from pure flow rather than classic technique…if you asked me to recreate it, I probably couldn’t — it was art in the moment, I threw away the rule book,” explains Mackinder.

‘Arise’ is the breakout collection by Chloe Houston and a foretaste of what’s to come.
A high level of technical skill was used to create a pallet of universal pastel colours on which she has crafted individual short to long hair shapes.

confident and mature creative vision from a young talent eager to be released.
