The inspiration behind this collection arises from the multitude of hair textures and how inspirational, exciting looks can be created when working with the hair both and wet and dry. The name of the collection 'Sweat To Dry' plays on the human experience and portrays how versatile hair can be when using different elements.

The latin name for geometry. 

Breaking this down further, Geo means earth, in this instance it refers to the people of earth and matica means to measure. Earth Math. 

Earth math brings together technical ability alongside creativity. 

It shows that as hairdressers we are skilled but also we have creative freedom, this collection was inspired by classic techniques and shapes on all hair textures from straight to tight coily. I worked with each individual as a muse and used their individuality to create the collection with the reoccurring classic theme of technique and shape.

This collection exalts the warmth and delicacy of orange and blonde tones, contrasted with dark hues to create a stunning visual effect. Each style is a meticulously crafted work of art, fusing the passion of fire with the softness of silk. In ‘AMBER DUSK’, we enhance the beauty of the asymmetrical and the natural, combining shapes and textures to achieve an air of mystery and sophistication.

Berlin: a fusion of bold art, design and nightlife, where boundaries refuse to be defined.

Berlin has been known for its dramatic sharp bold direction since the 1990s to present; clubbing, arts, architecture and fashion.  Berlin, the collection is defined the bold colours and strong themes, found not only on physical objects in the city but also its people.  The new freedoms afforded to the people of Berlin saw an explosion of creativity.

Everywhere in Berlin, colour and sharp geometric are centre stage.  Be it in the city’s famous street art, buildings or underground arts/fashion scene.

I have taken the bold colour blocking from club fashion and transcribed it to the hair in the collection.  Further techniques such as freehand, stencilling and precision placement have been inspired by the vibe from Berlin.  Strengthen with strong cuts that lead themselves to creative hair colour.

If there was a Fashion Designer who symbolized my inspiration, it would be the German Philipp Plein.  His work is bold and opulent yet provocative.  A bit of rock and roll yet high end, taking inspiration of pop culture yet shaped by strong architectural lines. 

The continuous evolving styles of Berlin fashion and art, which oscillates and changes over time continue to provide new inspiration.  A melting pot of style and glamour.

"Iris: A Reflection of Identity" is an evocative collection that draws inspiration from the mesmerizing world of iris photography. Celebrating the subtle beauty of imperfection,  Iris transcends conventional hairdressing norms to embrace the essence of individuality.

Each iris, with its personalised palette of colours, serves as a metaphor for the inherent uniqueness of every individual. Just as no two irises are identical, no two hues within this collection can be perfectly replicated. This collection embodies the belief that true beauty lies in embracing one's distinctiveness, in celebrating the colours and textures that make each person authentically themselves. The eyes being gateway to the individual’s soul.

Iris is a journey beyond the surface; exploring  layers of depth and complexity within each shade. These are colours that inspire curiosity; they are not merely pigments applied to hair, but reflections of one’s inner self waiting to be discovered.

Iris represents the beauty that lies within diversity, for the power of individual expression, and for the transformative potential of embracing imperfections. Iris is more than a collection; it is a testament to the kaleidoscopic richness of the unique human identity.

Upcycling takes wast and creates something new from it, in its current state. It can be seen as to what it has been and what it has become.

 I wanted to use materials that would normally be thrown away and creatively reuse them.  To transform hair and non hair material in to hair pieces.

Denim became a big part in the styling creating a more elevated street look. All the clothing has been upcycled or is second hand.
