I prodotti nuovi solo eccezionalmente sono innovazioni stratosferiche. Spesso si va per miglioramenti incrementali.

Ma l'innovazione può risiedere, oltre che nella formula, anche nel packaging, nella presentazione del merchandising, nella comunicazione. Perché per un terzo dei nuovi prodotti, validi o meno che siano, manca poi il supporto del marketing e questo ne decreta il fallimento: i consumatori non sanno che esistono, non li trovano nei Saloni, oppure non si sentono incentivati a provarli.

Secondo un'indagine Nielsen un packaging rinnovato fa crescere i ricavi del 5,5% rispetto a quello tradizionale.

Si può quindi dedurre che non sempre l'innovazione è nel prodotto stesso quanto nel modo di proporlo e quindi nel marketing.

Celebrating another phenomenal year, with the opening of 11 new salons, including the most northern RUSH SALON in Manchester and the continual growth of the company both on a business level and creatively, the Rush Oscars once again provided the perfect way to get 2017 off to a flying start.

Held at the beautiful art deco Savoy Theatre and hosted by International Creative Director, Andy Heasman and International Colour Director, Chris Williams, who immediately introduced Co-Founder and CEO, Andy Phouli onto stage, who welcomed 2017 as a ‘new year, new direction and new venture.’ Andy went on to share Rush’s plans for building and developing the brand and how proud the Rush family is of the entire team.

LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, has come on board to help grow Rush into a major national brand.
The investment will help to accelerate Rush’s national expansion of the brand as the company plans to fast-track the roll out and almost double its salon count over the next four years.

Co-founder and CEO, Stell Andrew took to the stage to give a compassionate speech, calling 2016 the best year Rush have ever had and that for 2017, the team will step up to the challenge.
Rush hairdressers are full of passion and creativity, with one goal and one commitment.

Each year RUSH raise valuable funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital with their show, Rush Live. This year was no exception. Rush’s Tina Farey and Paola Pinto took to the stage to speak about how much Rush’s long-standing relationship with GOSH means to the company and presented GOSH with a cheque for £14,800 which was raised at Rush Live taking the total raised over seven years to £120,000.

Co-Founder Andy and CEO drew the evening to a close bringing on daughters Sophia and Georgia to present the final award for London Salon of the Year to Baker Street.

Millennials are the most frequent users of all haircare products, with daily hair care usage higer among male consumers.
Most women use hair care products one to five times per week, with a considerable number of men using hair products daily across markets.

Millennials are out-using all other generational groups on every major product category when it comes to hair care.
In addition to gender, age and regional differences are also significant in usage habits: in Mexico and South Korea around 80% of 15-29 years olds shampoo daily, compared with just 35% of the same age group in the European markets of Italy and France.

Male consumers are keen on daily styling as well as washing.

Terapia descubierta por los campesinos y aplicada desde hace más de cien años, debe su eficacia al calor que liberan las hierbas alpinas en fermentación. Estimula la circulación, tonifica y purifica la piel gracias a la absorción de sus principios activos. Los baños de heno (hay bath) se han aplicado con éxito desde hace más de cien años.

Sus efectos positivos fueron descubiertos por los granjeros que trabajaban en las praderas alpinas, especialmente en el norte de Italia.

Ya a principios del siglo 20, los baños de heno eran considerados tratamientos naturales para aliviar dolores reumáticos, de cadera y de espalda, tortícolis, contracciones y calambres musculares, neuritis, ciática, sinovitis, rigidez articular y obesidad. La terapia, conocida también como fitobalneoterapia, era usada por los campesinos que, para templar el cuerpo después de las duras fatigas de la jornada, descansaban y dormìan sobre el heno cortado.

Cuidado natural entre los más antiguos, debe su eficacia al calor que libera de las hierbas alpinas en fermentación.

Así, los baños de heno estimulan la circulación, tonifican y purifican la piel gracias a la absorción de los principios activos contenidos en la eficaz mezcla compuesta por alquimila, artemisia, festuca, valeriana y lavanda, entre otros. Tienen un efecto desintoxicante y purificador, revitalizando el equilibrio y mejorando el bienestar general.

Sudando en el heno se fortalece el sistema inmunológico y se estimula el metabolismo.

Además, las flores representan un importante aporte para el cuidado de la piel.

The Original Hay Bath del Hotel Heubad
Uno de los pioneros en ofrecer los baños de heno fue el Hotel Heubad, cuyo servicio de "Hay Bath Station" está disponible desde su fundación, en el año 1903.

Y no sólo se mantiene hasta el día de hoy, sino que, además, es el tratamiento estrella de su spa, donde se lo promociona como The Original Hay Bath. No casualmente también sus propietarios siguen siendo los mismos: la familia Kompatscher. Por más de un siglo, cinco generaciones se han dedicado a estos tratamientos de heno fermentado.

Ubicado en la pequeña localidad de Fiè allo Sciliar, en la provincia italiana de Bolzano, el Hotel Heubad utiliza exclusivamente el heno recolectado de los prados de Alpe di Siusi.

Y se lo hace muy temprano, cuando todavía tiene todos sus aceites esenciales. Además, contiene árnica de montaña, genciana, campánula y milenrama. Aunque desde hace algunos años los baños de heno ya no pueden ser llamados tratamientos de curación, sus efectos positivos nunca han cambiado, afirman los propietarios del Hotel Heubad.

Así, por ejemplo, aseguran que existen documentos científicos que destacan que en casos de artritis, trastornos del sueño, problemas digestivos y agotamiento físico, los efectos positivos de 7 a 9 baños de heno se extienden de 8 a 10 meses.

Bañeras y Kraxenofen Muchos años después, los adelantos técnicos y científicos permitieron que esta terapia recobrara nuevamente vigencia a través del desarrollo y fabricación de las bañeras para baños de heno y de las sesiones de saunas Kraxenofen, que ayudan a relajar las distintas parte de la espalda y nuca, ganándose un espacio en el sector de spa y wellness. n procedimiento habitual es que la persona permanezca de 15 a 20 minutos envuelta en heno cálido y húmedo.

Posteriormente, se lo ubica en un área de relax durante otros 30 minutos.

Se recomienda, además, agregar un masaje clásico para cerrar y potenciar el tratamiento.
