The collection draws inspiration from real hairstyles—those that once came to life on salon clients, that walked the streets, and were lived and enjoyed in everyday life. VELVET reinterprets these authentic looks, elevating them to an artistic realm while preserving their original naturalness and emotional power.
With this collection, Raúl de Andreas pays tribute to hairdressing as an artistic discipline, reclaiming its ability to move and transcend. Ultimately, VELVET stands as a declaration of love to the craft—an invitation to see hairdressing as an art form worthy of a place in museums.

With his unmistakable artistic sensibility, Christian Ríos unveils the NOSSHOKY collection—a creation born from the dialogue between tradition and innovation, between the timeless serenity of Japanese art and the disruptive energy of modern color. This proposal transcends aesthetics to become a sensory experience that pays homage to Asian culture through the bold lens of contemporary styling.

Inspired by the poetic nuances of silk kimonos, the delicacy of cherry blossoms, and the meditative contemplation of Asian landscapes, the collection reveals a color palette that balances the ephemeral and the eternal. Powdery tones, pearlescent pinks, mossy greens, and deep blues are interwoven with metallic accents and vivid flashes, creating contrasts that are as refined as they are striking. Rebel is a celebration of spirit rather than tradition, a collection shaped by attitude, energy, and the pulse of modern Scotland. Instead of looking back, it looks outward, drawing on the contrasts I see every day living beside King Charles’ Dumfries Estate: grit and grandeur, heritage and forward motion, edge and elegance.

Working with the King’s kiltmaker gave me access to authentic tartans, but in this collection, they aren’t used as symbols of the past, they become graphic elements, textures, and rhythms that influence the shapes, colours, and movement of the hair.

A high level of technical skill was used to create a pallet of universal pastel colours on which she has crafted individual short to long hair shapes.

“A 100% razor haircut, this style was abstract and intuitive, born from pure flow rather than classic technique…if you asked me to recreate it, I probably couldn’t — it was art in the moment, I threw away the rule book,” explains Mackinder.
