Launch of luxury product range |
Distributors from more than 20 European countries attended a two-day launch event for the new rannge from Affinage Salon Professional, a luxury line called ASP. Held at Newcastle-under-Lyme's new £ 65 million campus within the state-of-the-art Transform Salon and Spa, it was announced that the first product line to be launched under the new ASP brand would be Kitoko Advanced Hair Therapy, a luxurious range of treatments that provide a professional regime approach to hair and scalp care. The launch culminated with a black the dinner and awards ceremony at the nearby Moat House Hotel, with awards recognising those who have contributed significantly to the business throughout 2010. Business meetings and lunch the next day completed the event. |

South Straffordshire College's annual hair and beauty competition saw a group of 16 Level 3 hairdressing students demonstrate their impressive abilities. Entitled Twisted Cinema, the event had a Hollywood and Gothic theme. Level 1 beauty students contributed make-up and costume design. The event raised £ 235 for the St. Giles Hospice based in Lichfield and the West Midlands. |

All'interno della manifestazione sono stati indetti un concorso riservato a giovani stilisti, uno per cortometraggi, un evento cinema, un evento moda con le sfilate dei giovani stilisti e molto altro. Con "Moda Movie - Mediterraneo, il mare di mezzo", Creazione e Immagine, società promotrice del progetto, è riuscita nell'intento di offrire diversi momenti di cinema, arte, spettacolo e più in generale di cultura, ad un pubblico non solo calabrese: ogni anno infatti l'evento ospita personaggi illustri del mondo della moda, del cinema e della cultura provenienti da ogni parte del mondo. Tutto questo è stato motivo di grande orgoglio per il presidente e ideatore SANTE ORRICO e per la project manager PAOLA ORRICO, che insieme si sono occupati anche dell'hairstyling delle serate. | |||

To achieve Rihanna's columised waves, prep towel-dried hair with mousse, take sections of hair, curl from the roots upwards and blow-dry using a large ceramic brush. Once dry, remove the brush and apply atyling powder to the roots. Turn the head upside down and shake the curls out for amazing root lift and a style that will keep its colume all night. | |

Depending on the hair's natural texture, this style can be created using a medium or large ceramic round brush for Hollywood blow-dry effect. For hair which is naturally straighter, heated rollers will give longer lasting bounce. |
