In questa 36esima edizione il tema portante dell'evento sarà Mystique in onore alla location dello show intrisa di fascino artistico e circondata da un alone di mistero.

Boho Grandeur draws inspiration from the early 20th Century Bohemian group of intellectuals, philosophers and artists known as the Bloomsbury Set, amalgamated with a bow to the iconic 1982 sci-fi cult movie Blade Runner. Incorporating cutting techniques of internal disconnection and sporadic texturing, forming idiosyncratic silhouettes. With a light wheat blonde as a canvas, colour is placed encapsulating luminosity with shadow. Soft mulberry marries in harmony with reflects of opal.

The inspiration for the collection can be traced back to the runway where clashes are a trend that comes and goes but never leaves. The hairstylists were inspired by the Spring/Summer 2017 shows specifically. There Marc Jacobs and Gucci showed what can only be described a fashion riot by letting colors, prints, fabrics and textures clash. Creativity was not bound by limits or rules – also the leading motto behind the Clash Collection.

A collection of editorial images with a twist of East Asian influences symbolising the red thread of fate. The Thread Of Fate is an East Asian myth originating from Chinese legend. It is believed the old lunar matchmaker god would tie an invisible red cord around the ankles of those destined to meet. Those connected by the red thread are destined lovers regardless of place, time or circumstance and no matter how much it is stretched or tangled it will never break. FATE as a collection represents being able to love yourself no matter how dark the road may seem or how broken you may feel. Loving yourself is the most beauty and power a woman can posses. In an imbalanced world and society of pain and suffering, love shall conquer all. Collectively the colour palette incorporated hues of Asian inspired yellow-gold, similar to that used with traditional jewelry, and cool-based earth tones. The use of solid colour blocking was applied intermittently to accentuate strong lines, whilst soft blended high and low lighting on a pivotal bias are worked into the other looks to give maximum texture and dimension within the internal structure. The shading between light and dark exaggerates the strength of the forms within the hair and gives both dimension and structure to each look. The combined looks are strong but with a hint of softness to them to create a depth and romance marrying the selected palette together.

The Private Swimming Pool styling collection achieves its impact from the alluring interplay between moments of privacy and moments in the public eye. The focus of the collection’s looks is on soft and layered cuts with connecting lines that flow smoothly into each other and guarantee easy and uncomplicated styling for every wearer. The predominant hues are based on the colour spectrum of corals in all their multifaceted shades: The colour palette is marked by expressive red tones, subtle cool violet effects, as well as warm copper and rose gold nuances that look as though they were painted with watercolours – thanks to the pastelization technique.

This collection is about color creativity and looking at the everyday in a different way. For this collection the hairstylist found her inspiration in modern art, catwalk fashion and random day-to-day places such as the craft store.
